Gallery 10: Raptors

Eagles, Hawks, Osprey, Owls, & Kestrels

Raptors can often be seen in the Jackson Hole and Yellowstone regions. Getting close enough to take worthy photos is the big challenge. Eagles and some hawks winter in the region. Osprey move south for the winter and return in the spring.

Owls are some of my favorites. It takes a lot of luck and persistence to find them and get shots.
