Gallery 9 Horizontals: Barns & Structures

Including dinosaurs, Native American Indians, settlers, and tourists, this region has a rich history. Settlers built houses, barns and structures around the valley floor. Some survive to help provide a window into the past. The barns on Mormon Row are some of the most photographed barns in the country. They make great foreground subjects, and especially so when the Teton Range of mountains are visible as a backdrop.
I like to photograph the barns and structures through all four seasons, though access to some of them can become limited by either road closures or heavy snow.
