Regional Info:
The City of Jackson is located in the scenic Northwest corner of Wyoming, south of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. While much of the state is relatively barren and covered with either grasslands or sage, a few areas are heavily wooded with aspen, spruce, fir, and pine trees.
The two National Parks get much of the attention, but numerous other National Monuments, wilderness areas, and mountain ranges are equally impressive. We also have numerous National Recreation areas, National Forests, and many National Historic Sites.
Outdoor sports are also a big draw for the state, including fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, water sports, and the list goes on and on.
